Founding Board Members

We are a team of dental professionals that have worked together in general and family dentistry for many years. We share a desire to serve others by volunteering our God-given abilities in our field. We’ve been blessed to get to know and treat patients rescued from human trafficking and exploitation. This deepened the call in our hearts to serve rescued women and meet their dental needs in a more expanded, comprehensive and compassionate ministry.

Dr. Jessica Bertoglio

Dr. Jessica Bertoglio has been working in private practice dentistry since 2003. She loves all aspects of general dentistry. Specifically, she enjoys embracing the latest technologies and innovations in dentistry, as well as the different phases of implant dentistry. In 2014, she opened her own dental practice in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Dr. Jess’s practice is an elegant, state-of-the art facility where she and her team provide safe, compassionate, and effective treatment. Patients often share how much they enjoy snuggling up with one of Dr. Jess’s therapy dogs during treatment. She wants everyone to feel at home and as comfortable as possible. The highlight of her work is getting to know her patients and their families.

You can find Jessica outside of her dental practice riding horses with her family. She and husband, Bryan, have three beautiful daughters and love spending time together at their farm in the Hampshire area.

“I want to be the hands of Jesus as I help women heal in the best way I know how. I am grateful for the skills God has given me to serve our patients, and be a part of their journey of restoration.” -Jess.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6.

Marsha Mallett

Marsha has worked in the dental field since 2015. She is an integral part of her dental team as the office manager and lead dental assistant. Marsha finds it rewarding to see her patients through a treatment plan and leave with a healthy, beautiful smile that they feel proud of.

Marsha spends most of her free time at various family events with her husband, Daniel, and their 5 children or training for her next race, as she is an Ironman triathlete. Marsha recognizes that God blesses every one of us with gifts and talents that we are meant to share. Her gift in creating ceramic art also inspires her to share this gift through teaching her students. As a potter, Marsha relates to God through His process of creation, repairing and completely rebuilding. She loves how He is The Original Potter of our lives and has formed us perfectly in creation and also perfectly rebuilds us in our brokenness making us stronger than we were before.

“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the Potter; we are all the work of Your hand.” Isaiah 64:8

“I am honored to serve in humility, following the example of Jesus. By helping others through kindness, grace, and love to bring glory to God” -Marsha.

Denise Gianpetro, Executive Director

Denise has worked in the dental field for over 22 years with the majority of this time as a dental hygienist. She finds joy in learning and educating others about their dental and overall health. Denise considers the greatest blessing of her work to be the relationships built with patients.

Denise and husband, Jim, have two children and live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. As a family, they enjoy spending time together laughing, eating good food, and spending time outdoors. They have recently partnered with lifelong friends to open a church in the St. Charles, IL area. Denise enjoys preparing the children’s curriculum for the young hearts at her church as well as participating in the women’s ministry.

“It is a blessing and an honor to be part of this ministry. I am thankful to God for the opportunity to use the gifts and talents He has given me to serve my sisters in Christ,” -Denise.

“This is His commandment, that we believe (with personal faith and confident trust) in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and (that we unselfishly) love and seek the best for one another, just as He commanded us.” 1 John 3:23 AMP
